__ Torque cylinder head to 50 ft/lbs.  Adjust valve clearances to
	0.006-0.008".
	Intake valves   4    3    2    1   		+ too tight

__ Road test:  Fourth gear, 30 to 60 (1700 to 3200 rpm) ___ sec.
	       Second gear, 20 to 50 (2200 to 5500 rpm) ___ sec.

__ Compression tests & plug color:  dry  wet  plug color
	warm engine

__ Fuel pump pressure:  3 to 3 1/2 psi at 1000 rpm. _____ psi.

__ Replace spark plugs.  Gap 0.024".  Lube threads to prevent galling.
	Torque to 20 ft/lbs.  Champion N9Y.

__ Initial vacuum reading at idle: _____ inches.

__ Fuel pump volume.  5 1/2 to 6 1/2 oz. in 10 sec. @ 5700 rpm.
	no bubbles.  _____ ozs.

__ Battery voltage with ignition switch on: ______ volts.
	Voltage from battery to dropping resistor: ____ volts.
	Voltage from battery to starting motor, when starter
	operated for 10 seconds.  2 volts drops ok.  _____ volts.

__ Check or renew points.  Gap 0.016".  Dwell angle 60⊗ +/- 1⊗.
	Oil felt under rotor.  Lightly lube cam.

__ Time ignition.  2000 rpm. Warm engine.  Vacuum hose disconnected.
	Timing mark bisected by index.  Check number four cylinder
	also.  Reconnect vacuum hose.  Tighten housing clamp.

__ Set idle adjustment.  Screw in mixture to stop, and back out 2 1/2
	turns.  Set idle adjustment for 7-800 rpm.  Screw in mixture
	to best idle. Reset to 7-800 rpm.  Readjust mixture.

__ Road test again:  Fourth gear, 30 to 60  _____ secs.
		     Second gear, 20 to 50  _____ secs.
